For growers, being able to compete in the global market can be a challenge, but with the help of Agroservicios Pampeanos (ASP) – Agrium Retail’s South American operation – they can achieve the ultimate balance between yield and quality.
Taking an analytical approach, ASP agronomists work together with customers to find the best products for their operations. However, it’s not just about which products are used but how they are applied that can make a grower’s crop thrive. Experts from ASP partner with colleagues from Loveland Products, another business of the Agrium Retail family, to create custom chemistry, seed and fertilizer treatment programs for Argentinian customers.
This unique relationship between ASP and Loveland Products has created an avenue for new technologies and products to be used by the grower. One of the tools they’ve used since 2016 is NutriScription – Loveland Products’ nutritional prescription platform – which generates field-specific recommendations for growers. Using NutriScription, agronomists help customers determine the right nutrient source to apply at the right time, at the right rate and in the right place.
