Agrium is proud to receive another award for being a great company...
Here we go again...Agrium has received another award for being a great company! As they say, there’s never too much of a good thing. The announcement was made October 15th with the release of the 2011 winners of Canada’s Top Employers competition by Mediacorp Canada Inc. Agrium also received the same top honors in 2010 and 2006. More than 12,000 employers across the country were invited to participate in the competition this year.
“Everyone at Agrium is honored by this top employer recognition; our employees and leadership across the organization work hard every day to make the company a positive experience for all,” said Mike Wilson, President and CEO of Agrium. “Growth is a top priority for Agrium – for both our products and our people. The Board of Directors and the Leadership Team recognize that our employees are the backbone of the company and our success starts and ends with each and every one of them.”
To put icing on the cake, Agrium was also recently selected a regional winner and national finalist for Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures of 2010 by Waterstone Human Capital. Agrium has also been one of Alberta’s Top 50 Companies for the past four years. We’ll find out more about these awards in the coming months.
Agrium employees are unique. They interact with people who have backgrounds from around the world – growers, engineers, retailers, customers and business partners, to name a few. Our employees contribute to a greater understanding of different educational backgrounds and cultures. With those talents, Agrium’s diverse and inclusive workforce helps the company work efficiently, communicate broadly and grow with success.
Congratulations on a job well-done!
