Power Engineering Students
Agrium hires Power Engineering students between the first and second year of study. The purpose of the work placement is to provide students with industrial experience and steam time. Chosen students begin in May each year and top performers are hired and receive a $2000 education reimbursement. The number of hires is based on business need.

Engineer-in-Training Program
Agrium supports the concept of creating a technical development process for our engineering employees to reflect our focus on people. Agrium has developed a four year Engineer-in-Training rotational Program (EIT) to combine the technical training achieved at university with on-the-job training.

New Grad Rotational Program – US / Canada  Accounting & Finance

The goal of the New Grad Rotation Program is to grow talented individuals into Agrium's future leaders. It is a two-year full-time program with approximately three rotations in Accounting and Finance (six to eight months each). The program is offered in the Calgary, AB and Loveland, CO offices, across all SBUs. 

Additionally, New Grads participate in various ad-hoc projects designed to enhance leadership development, communication skills, and internal networking. Diverse and incremental learning is provided to develop broad accounting/finance and leadership ability and build a solid understanding of Agrium’s business.

Co-op Program
Agrium’s co-op program gives you hands on work experience and lets you apply classroom fundamentals to everyday business practices. This combination of school and work will give you a competitive edge when you enter the workforce. We offer competitive co-op salaries based on the standards set in similar and competing industries.

How Do I Apply?

Agrium recruits students for co-op positions throughout the year. Recruiting for Power Engineering student starts in January/February. EIT and new graduate recruiting is done in the Fall. The number of positions varies each semester according to business need.
